Privacy statement
The following explanation gives you a complete overview of how the owner of this website guarantees the protection of your data, as well as the type, extent and purpose of the data collected. The legal foundations of data protection can be found in the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Telemedia Act (TMG).
Access Data / Server Logfiles
The provider may collect data pertaining to each instance of access to the website (server logfiles). This access data includes: name of the website retrieved, file, date and time of retrieval, data volume transferred, confirmation of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the operating system of the user and referrer URL (the previously visited page). The IP address used by your web browser to access the page will, however, not be saved by us – in this way, the data saved is non-personal.
Piwik
This website uses Piwik, open-source software for the statistical analysis of user access. Piwik uses ‘cookies’, text files which are saved on the user’s computer and allow for analysis of the use of the website by the user. The information generated by the cookie pertaining to the use of this website is saved on the provider’s server in Germany. The IP address is anonymised immediately after the information is processed and before it is saved. Users can prevent the installation of cookies by changing the relevant settings in their browser. The provider wishes to point out, however, that this may prevent some functions of this website from being used to their full extent. You can deactivate the collection of data regarding your visits here. If your browser supports ‘do not track’ technology, and if you have activated this function, your visit will be ignored automatically.
Communication
When users contact the provider (e.g. via the contact form or email), the information provided by them is saved for the purpose of processing the request, as well as for the possibility of follow-up questions.
Integration of third-party services and content
Third-party content from other websites, such as map material from Google Maps, may be integrated into this website. This always assumes that the providers of such content (hereafter ‘third-party providers’) can view users’ IP addresses, since without these IP addresses, they would not be able to transmit their content to the respective users’ browsers. As a result, an IP address is necessary to display this content. We endeavour to use content only from providers which use IP addresses solely for the delivery of content. Nevertheless, we have no influence over whether these third parties save IP addresses for purposes such as statistics. In every instance in which we are aware of this, we will inform our users.
Withdrawal, modifications, corrections and updates
Users have the right to receive information regarding the personal data saved pertaining to them, this free of charge and on request. In addition, users have the right to correct incorrect data and to block or delete their personal data, insofar as there is no legal requirement to preserve the same.
